Buddies on the vine
from SNAP Downtown Toronto
I was passing the time by making a scene on the set of the final day of filming the upcoming TV series, "Buddies on the Vine", a variety cooking show. It will be an in-depth hear warming experience, showcasing what just might be a chef's favourite past-times, cooking and drinking.
New, younger chefs, alongside seasoned pros, will offer many great teaching tips on how to cook with wine & spirits. It was a joy to watch the music and dance, easy to see how food compliments music and vice versa. And because the food usually goes to the belly, dancing with it is a pleasurable addition.
My compliments to the co-producers Marty Galin & Kaaveh Shoman: the show left me with a good taste. Buddies on the Vine is being served locally on SunTV beginning June 2009, and nationally on MENTV. With comedic twists, unique performances, music, and much more it promises to be a fun cooking show worth watching.
